No Rodents Allowed… A Ruling
It has come to my attention that there was discussion regarding Rob aka DA RODENT aka DA DIDDLER’s late entry into this year’s FPGP. It was proposed that we let DA RODENT in after this week, with the stipulation being that he couldn’t take any player from Kapalua. After discussion with some of the senior FPGP people, I’ve decided that DA RODENT is out for this year. The simple fact is that our picks have been public for a day, and that would provide him with a huge advantage. Plus, the main (bullshit) excuse for not getting picks in this year was my “late” email asking for them. Well, guess what people? The rules almost never change…. the start weekend of the Tour season is the same every year. If you want to be in this pool, and have been in it for 12 years, you know what’s going on. A few people emailed me the obvious “what about Tiger?” question back in December, and I told them he’d be off the board because he would be such an obvious pick… so clearly, many people are thinking about this with plenty of time to spare. As the saying goes, excuses are like assholes… everyone has them and they all stink.
So it is written, so it shall be done.
